
TOP QUALITY ACCORDING TO EN 15038:2006 AT MAART AGENCY LTD.
Mart Agency Ltd. was the first translation agency in Poland and one of the first in Europe to successfully undergo a full audit and obtain independent certification under the specialized European translation standard PN-EN 15038:2006.
The certification covers all MAart processes and systems in the context of professional translation services, localization services and project management. The external certification audit was carried out by Bureau Veritas Certification on 16 March 2007, whereas the last audit was performed on 22 February 2008.
PN-EN 15038 is the Polish version of the European Norm EN 15038:2006, which was approved by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) on 13 April 2006. The standard establishes and specifies detailed requirements for high quality services on the part of translation service providers. Also, it specifies requirements for the translation services provider concerning human resources, technical resources, quality and orders management, terms of agreements, work-flows, customer relations as well as procedures. The Polish version of the European norm 15038:2006 was published by PKN in collaboration with the Polish Association of Translation Agencies (PSBT). Representatives of MAart Agency, which is a founding member of PSBT, were responsible for the translation and preparing guidelines for the audit process and certification of Polish translation agencies.
SUCCESSFUL ISO 9001 RECERTIFICATION AT MAART AGENCY LTD.
In February 2008, all MAart Agency departments and business processes underwent internal audits, and then, subsequently, detailed external validation and recertification audits by independent auditors from Bureau Veritas Certification under the quality systems recertification procedure according to ISO 9001:2006.
The successful recertification proves the highest quality of the translations provided by MAart, a translation agency who enjoys the confidence of such giants as ABB, Emerson Process Management, Vattenfall, Eli Lilly, MSD, Janssen–Cilag, numerous multinationals, government agencies and financial institutions as well as all the major EU bodies including the European Parliament and the EC.
